Over the course of his four decade plus legal career, Lawrence has worked with hospitals, health systems, federally qualified health centers, medical group practices and senior living providers in the design and implementation of “value-added” business relationships that were designed: (i) to improve the quality of clinical care provided, and (ii) to resolve and address the most serious regulatory challenges faced by clients in the health care field.
Lawrence is the Dean of Faculty and Co-founder of The Institute for Senior Living, a non-profit “think tank” comprised of senior living leaders and Chief Executive Officers who meet periodically to craft new, innovative ways of serving elderly clients in senior housing and continuing care communities.
Lawrence also provides consulting services as a Principal for Garcia Performance Solutions, providing strategic planning and transactions, governance performance and board development, including professional education and training.

Melissa has more than a decade of experience working with law firms in paralegal, office manager, and administrative assistant roles. At Garcia Law Corporation, she supports the firm’s clients by fulfilling timely and important para-professional obligations and the firm’s attorneys by managing case files and client work on a routine basis. Her prior work experience includes working with high-level executives, running small business offices, and senior support roles with national law firms.
In her current role, she provides corporate paralegal services to clientele including experience in forming for-profit and nonprofit corporations, LLCs and limited partnerships. She is adept at completing forms and informational requests for governmental entities as well as conducting research and solving internal business challenges for clients.
